PBO hopes to offer strong measurement framework on infrastructure spending, 'disentangle' projects

Infrastructure Canada's 2008-9 performance report is "disappointing" and lacks key information, says Canada's Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page. In 2008-09, Infrastructure Canada lapsed $1-billion, almost one-third of its allotted budget, and just under one-sixth of all money lapsed by the federal government during that fiscal year, according to the Public Accounts.
